> #HashItOut is a hashtag game open to everyone, and anyone can make their own #HashtagGames as well.

Do you just mean that anyone can set up a regular scheduled game, or can anyone with a one-off idea toot it whenever inspiration strikes? And use one or both hashtags for it?

Anyone is free to start their own games.

#HashItOut is @hashitout's game 'brand' tag. David can talk about that.

I don't have a 'brand' tag for our games.

#HashtagGames is the universal tag.t.

By including #HashtagGames along with whatever tags you use, people that filter out the games don't have to do anything extra as the new games come along and players that follow that tag automatically get your game.
