Is everyone getting the #HashTagGames new nightly game post by 9pm EST (your time zone)? I’ve been trying to work the posting time out to deal with WordPress’s way of federation. Some get it starting at 8:53pm est. FYI, you can’t tell by looking at the posting time of previous game plays. If you recall you are seeing it before 9pm, you’re instance is set to get it best it can. Let @paul know if it is coming to your instance after 9PM. Thanks!

Same. I usually see someone else posting, click on the tag & then see this post, but often it doesn't show up in my TL until a bit later.
@hashtaggames @paul Works for me, but then again, I'm in EST and live pretty close to you.
@JensHannemann I think, but not certain, WordPress federates in batches plus server slows down due to the extra work at that time. I have robust cacheing setup to speed it along.

Not always. Either last night or the night before it showed up 9 minutes late, and that wasn't the first time.
@hashtaggames @paul To be honest, I've stopped getting the notice. I've just been hunting up the tag from players around the drop.
@hashtaggames @paul I don't know exactly when the game promo drops since my laptop insists on constantly being a few minutes late, but of late I've noticed one or two game posts preceeding the promo in the hashtag's feed.
I think one time you posted details about a potential delay, but that showed up a few posts after the promo.

I was watching for it from 8:50-9:00, but it never came on my feed. I had to click a player's hashtag to find it.

I added @frank's tweak and hopefully that will take some of the load off WordPress and make things go smoother.
WordPress probably wasn't the best choice to federate a post each night at the same time with a bunch of people waiting for that post to be posted. We're getting through it, though… Thanks for your patience.
