True, but in many places, and it is based on geography, any member of the Buteo species, and some regions go as far as considering any member of the Accipitridae family, as buzzards.

You are correct, though, that is not a buzzard proper. 🙂 I was waiting to be called out.🤭

That just happened to be a royalty free image I could get and use safely where the poster is of the any Buteo species.
